We showcase a selection of filmmakers who have offered an insight into the psychological shifts, insecurities and patterns of escapism connected to the human condition. We follow a conversation relating to the doubts felt within an interracial relationship, whilst a filmmaker tries to reconnect and let go simultaneously of his recently deceased granny. A woman battles with her independence and her controlling partner, and mental health struggles are endured between a mother and a daughter.
